Saturday Morning

As many of you know, I LOVE coffee shops. A local couple just opened a shop here called Java Joys. They make the best coffee I've ever had. They have Dunkin' Donuts, Tim Horton's and Starbucks all beat! They use Ancora brand coffee, but they make a killer Vanilla Honey latte. I know, me drinking something without chocolate is unheard of, but this is good stuff! When any of you come out here, we are going there! The girls love it there too. They lounge on suede sofas and enjoy their hot cocoa or cherry smoothie. Here is a picture of them from this past weekend.

"It's in there!"

Back when I was younger (much younger) I can remember the commercials for Prego pasta sauce. The famous one-liner was "It's in there!" Whatever you needed - tomatoes, peppers, onions, garlic - it was in there. This applies to our lives as well. So often we spend time worrying about storing up for the inevitable, when you just can't take it with you. Whatever you need, God put it in you. It's in there! And you should reflect it to others. This means you have the ability to do it even when you don't feel like it - because it's in you. You may not be able to take it with you, but you can send it on ahead (2 Peter 1:10-13)
God's economic plan is your compassion, brotherly kindness and love stored up and collecting interest in Heaven. One day you will be rewarded with a victory celebration like no other. So live deeper, love wider, and leave bigger (Daniel 12:3)
